Service Description
New Patient Psychiatric Evaluation A psychiatric evaluation involves obtaining an in-depth and detailed history of experiences in the areas of physical,medical, psychological health, behavior health, spiritual health, social health, financial health, and family history. We are a mental health clinic, in addition to thorough history taking, laboratory studies are recommended. Treatment interventions are created jointly with the client and tailored to the client's specific history, needs and goals. Interventions may include traditional medication management with prescription. Traditional psychiatric care may include holistic care based on the client's needs and/or goals. All initial appointments include: 1. Comprehensive History Collection and Assessment 2. Evaluation for Medication Initiation/Management of current medications 3. Medication(s) will be managed/prescribed, if warranted (same-day) 4. Nutritional assessment 5. Evaluation for Laboratory studies, e.g. blood draw, genetic testing (order during visit) 6. Brief Financial health assessment 7. Supportive psychotherapy and other methods of health optimization, e.g. faith based, DBT, CBT, referrals. 8. Genetic Testing (if applicable)
Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy Progressive Psych and Wellness Center is committed to compassionate care and fair, transparent billing. 1. Prepaid Appointments Some services (like new patient visits) require full prepayment to confirm your appointment. This amount goes toward your visit balance. 2. Cancellations & No-Shows 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the visit fee. This applies to all appointments, including technical issues caused by the patient (e.g., late login). Note: These fees are not billable to insurance and must be paid before future bookings. 3. Refunds Services that have already been provided are non-refundable. Approved refunds will exclude processing fees, which are charged by our payment processor and not retained by our office. To request a refund, email: progressivepsychllc@gmail.com with your full name, date of service, and reason. Requests are reviewed within 5 business days. 4. Chargebacks Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us directly causes unnecessary costs to the practice. Policy: Accounts with chargebacks will be permanently closed. No future appointments can be booked on that account. Please reach out to resolve billing concerns professionally. We understand emergencies happen, please contact us if you need help. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in discharge from the practice.
